 Sol Barros, is a CA licensed Audiologist specializing in Hearing Rehabilitation using Digital Technology. She has a Bachelors Degree from Marquette University and a Masters Degree in Hearing Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. While at the University of Wisconsin she was a research assistant in the development of the first digital hearing aid "The Phoenix", a corded body-worn device. She has had extensive experience in the U.S. and South America in all aspects of hearing and fitting, programming and counseling for the hearing impaired of all ages.
Sol has worked in the medical field with ear, nose and throat specialists in private practice, clinics and hospitals. She taught Aural Rehabilitation at California State University, Hayward. She has facilitated educational seminars for various major hearing aid companies and served as a speaker at many national, state and local meetings. She has worked on the manufacturing side of audiology as a Product/Marketing Manager at Resound Corporation, in the development and launch of new products, overseeing the process from inception to production. She also served as Product Liaison for Bernafon, coordinating efforts between Switzerland and the United States. Her last industry position was a Regional West Coast Manager for Unitron Hearing.
 Originally from Louisiana, Tim moved to the bay area in 2005. In 2008, he joined our team here at Exceptional Hearing Services. Coming from a history of customer service and medical field experience made him a great addition to our staff. He has been enrolled in a Hearing Loss Support Specialist course and is considering pursing a career as a Hearing Aid Dispenser. Always ready to greet patients with a great smile, a warm welcome, and a little bit of southern hospitality, Tim demonstrates great compassion and understanding when dealing with our patients.
